Every year millions of pounds of benefit go unclaimed across the country and you could be entitled to some of it.
The benefits bus will be open and parked outside the market in the town centre from 10am to 3pm from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th August offering help and advice to local people.
This mobile service is accessible to everyone with no appointment necessary – just drop in for some quick advice or to collect a claim form. The advice centre is equipped with disabled access, private interview rooms, satellite and internet access which allows for immediate benefit estimates to be made.
Even if you have never claimed any benefits before, it may be worth finding out what you are entitled to – especially if your circumstances have changed, you are on a low income or out of work.
The benefits bus has been travelling across the region for three years and is proving very successful – on its last visit in May customers who applied for help collectively qualified for benefits of over £91,000 with one Orford couple receiving over £7,000 in extra cash!
