Openingdoors is a registered Charity that provides support and assistance to homeless and vulnerable people in Warrington.

Openingdoors provide:

Drop-In centre -  offering help and advice to young people, aged 16-22 years, who are homeless, vulnerable and in need of support.

The Night Shelter - providing overnight emergency accommodation for 10 people aged 18 years and over. Service users are provided with a bed, breakfast and a packed lunch.

Grange Avenue - offering six self-contained flats to young people, aged 16-22 years. The aim is to enable the young person to develop independent living skills, with the goal of moving into their own accommodation.

Nisus 22 - a Supported Lodgings Scheme for young people, aged 16-22 years, in need of accommodation. The young person is provided with a room within the local community.

A member of the openingdoors team forms part of the Multi Agency Needs Assessment Panel, that helps to co-ordinate care for those with multiple and complex needs.

Openingdoors offer Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for mid-range mental health problems, phobias and anger management. Referrals are made through openingdoors’ main office.

Openingdoors work in partnership with Probation and the Drug Interventions Programme to provide bonds for private-rented property.
